Design Transformations Case Study

The brief for this project was high end rental. The property centered around an open staircase over five levels. It needed a wall colour that would work on every level from basement to this double height atrium. I sourced a soft grey, with no blue or green hues.

The emphasis was on easy to maintain but contemporary and chic. Using the fabulous harbour views as the focus, heavy aluminum framed doors were replaced with frameless items and the width hung with soft voile giving movement to the room when the doors are opened.

European oak flooring gives texture and warm which is echoed in the cushions. Graffiti inspired contemporary art and contemporary lighting makes a statement at one end; for the opposite elevation, the bespoke bookcase neatly hides the large television.
