The key to this project was adding architectural substance and integrated technology.
Solid walnut skirting boards and door frames with richly veneered doors and hand-made bronze handles were fitted throughout the property.
The dressing room was re-configured to allow a more natural flow and a lighting scheme created to enhance newly sourced artworks. The main focus of the bedhead features an antique Thai shadow puppet in a bespoke frame with integral lighting (all LED, so no risk of heat or UV damage) that enhances the decorated surface of the piece, or can illuminate the background for full shadow effect.
The walls are covered with richly textured natural weave and the deep carpet is a silk and bamboo mix. Concealed bedside controls operate the air conditioning, blinds, external and internal lighting, security and music.
